This flooring is constructed utilizing an HDF(High Density Fiberboard) core, offering a higher hardness rating and superior stability to traditional ply-wood used in engineered floors. The click system features a “Drop Lock” end click, increasing the ease of installation compared to the traditional click systems that required tapping boards together end to end. It also has an attached underlayment, or pad, taking one step out of the installation process. Due to that click system and the attached underlayment, this floor can be installed solely by the floating method. The stability and installation method of this flooring makes it a great product for going in over concrete, on or below grade, and radiant heating systems. The thick wear layer of Natural Strand Woven Bamboo offers the highest hardness rating of any material available for hardwood or bamboo flooring making it the most resistant to dings and dents. Its 11 layers of polyurethane/aluminum oxide offer one of the most scratch resistant finishes available today. All in all, you’d be hard pressed to find a floor that offers an easier installation or similar durability, let alone one that combines the two.
Do not use a wet spray micro fiber mop, or wet swiffers. Never use wax, polish, abrasive cleaners or scouring agents as they may dull or distort the finish.
For normal everyday cleaning use a broom or a DRY swiffer to sweep up any debris. For hard to clean spots use a lightly damp cloth or mop to clean or you can use a hard surface spray cleaner, just spray a light mist on the floor and then mop with a DRY micro fiber mop. Avoid using excessive moisture. Too much moisture can cause warping, or buckling which is not covered under warranty. All spills should be cleaned up immediately.
Use protective pads under furniture. USE CAUTION: Planks are slippery when wet.
It's a good idea to save a few panels in case of accidental damage. Planks can be replaced or repaired by flooring professional.
NOTE:Check the panels from all cartons before and during installation. Before installing, all cartons must be fully acclimatized for 5-7 days with temperatures ranging from 50°-70°F. In the unlikely event of there being any damaged panels, these should not be installed.
